RESIDENTIAL EXPERIENCE COORDINATORSThe Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences & the Arts(ASMSA)
, is accepting applications for multiple ten-month, full-time openings as Residential Experience Coordinators beginning August 1, 2020. Residential Experience Coordinators are on-campus, live-in positions that provide direct support and guidance to both ASMSA students and their families.
REC's are charged with the oversight and safety of approximately 35 adolescent students in tenth through twelfth grades. Coordinators work in collaboration with a team of Residential Mentors for campus programming, development assessment of students, and Student Center operations and serve in leadership roles for the development and implementation of a new Student Develop Curriculum that focuses on topics in social-emotional learning, leadership, and engagement.
A Master's degree in student affairs, higher education, college student personnel, counseling, social work, or a related field is required. Successful candidates should have at least two years of residence life or student affairs experience along with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of residential functions, operations, and strong interpersonal communication skills. Experience developing focused experiences for students and demonstrated commitment in continual learning and institutional improvement are preferred.

Private room and utilities are available for the full year while meals are provided while school is in session.
